sad days.
Added 2021-04-27 23:13:54 +0000 UTCToday, we had to put my baby to sleep. He was in lots of pain and getting very old, he made it it 16 years old. His name is Poppy and he was the sweetest, chubbiest baby ever. I didnt have any warning, my mom told me last night and it was very sad to suddenly lose him without much time to process, but i wanted you guys to know :( i have many things prerecorded anyways but i'll still record cause it takes my mind off of things and many groups make me very happy and smile. But just a warning, in case i seem off or not as enthused sometimes.

I'm very sorry to hear this, the two worst days of my life were the days I had to say goodbye to my beloved dogs. It doesn't matter how old they are (both of mine were 18), it's never going to be enough time. I'm sure you and your family gave him a wonderful life, and brought him as much happiness as he brought you. It's going to be difficult I'm sure, based on my own experiences. I'm not going to lie and say that you're ever going to stop missing him, I know I still miss my dogs every day. But what I can promise you is that the sad feelings of missing him will slowly get replaced with happy memories of him. Like, that spot on the floor where your dog used to lay which is so sad when they're gone. At first the thought is how sad it is that they aren't there, and eventually you get happy thinking about how they'd always been there. It's a process, but it takes time. I just hope you're all doing okay, and know that he had a happy life because he had a good family.
