Basically just swap wine reviews and asmr for tea, and its like an evolution of the Wine About It brand because teetotaling is a term about sobriety, but also like “The Tea” ya know? So I had a similar thing happen to what QT is suggesting here, that someone was telling me about the show, and Chuck Bass was their favorite. But as a newbie, when you watch the show, he has a terrible first impression. Like awful. I just remember watching it and being shocked that this was their favorite character.

I used to listen to a podcast named Drunk Tank and they had the same issues with not being able to get sponsors. That, and having a podcast based around drinking can turn people into alcoholics for content which isn't fun

Feel free to use it for free, I made it like half a year ago, before the official subreddit existed, and definitely didn't work hard enough on it to deserve money for it, only took me like half an hour to an hour I think. Sidenote: Just using my image as inspiration for a custom made logo that you paid for is probably a better idea, with how the public opinion on AI image generation is so negative lately.

The pun was definitely fun and witty, but the content has clearly shifted away from drinking, and neither QT or Maya liked wine to begin with. The positioning line under the title of the Patreon has even already removed the “drunk podcast” line, if I saw correctly. So, definitely makes sense to move in that direction. Just a random viewer’s 2 cents who happens to work in brand copywriting, but I prefer “Distracted” to “Lack of Attention” for a rebranded name. It’s cleaner for merch and logo, rolls off the tongue better, and is impossible to misconstrue. Lack of Attention could be understood as “not Getting enough attention” instead of “not Paying attention.” Distracted has a hint of self-deprecation, which is naturally endearing. Distracted also has an “active” connotation. To be distracted, it’s because your attention is actively pulled in numerous different directions, each capturing your attention for a brief time because it’s more interesting in the moment. Which feels appropriate for this podcast’s content. To have a “lack of attention” feels more like a “passive” state of just not being interested enough in anything to devote your attention to it. Lack of Attention does appear totally clear for trademark purposes according to the USPTO TESS trademark database, though. “Distracted” is technically a trademark owned by a small and seemingly little known apparel company, but I wouldn’t imagine that being an issue to trademark either—especially if your logo uses your full name (theirs is a stylized capital D). Just some food for thought!

It'd be a sad farewell to Wine About It but like a full rebrand with new sets, new logos, new merch launch, you could have a whole day just announcing to the world that the podcast is back and fully capitalizing on who you both are now (compared to who you two were back when this all first started).

Also, pertaining to the SA allegations, “in the summer of 2018, the Los Angeles County District Attorney announced that they wouldn’t be pursuing charges due to “insufficient evidence,” “availability of the victim,” and some allegations being outside of “the statute of limitations.””
