Dungeon Coup Demo 0.1

Hello everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

The day has finally come, yay!

After a lot of hard work, i'm here to introduce you to the first Demo of Dungeon Coup!

This small project will run as a side project for the next months, while we build the core systems for Project Nexus (again) and we can get Project Nexus in a decent state.

So what is Dungeon Coup?

Dungeon Coup is a third person dungeon runner where your objective is to get to the throne room as soon as possible. However, your hands are tied, and the dungeon is full of your horny subs who want to have fun with this little game...

This project is developed based on your feedback!

Even though the idea and the theme of it was mine, most of its gameplay features are tailored to the feedback you guys and gals gave me in the past months via the [Research] polls (which i intend to do more!) and all the future features of this projects will be chosen by you via voting polls!

One small thing that i would like to say is... the game is way heavier than i intended. I seem to have a problem making small projects, and things quickly end up spiraling into bigger stuff, so the game weighs almost one gb, sorry about that.

After playing the demo i would love it if you guys and gals could give me feedback in the next post, so i know how to proceed for the next update, i want this game to be as fun as possible for all of you!

With that being said here are the download links!

Dungeon Coup 0.1 MEGA

Dungeon Coup 0.1 MediaFire

No Mac version? nope. too much trouble for now, once i can get my hands on a mac i will make mac builds again.

And now im gonna finally take my vacations (cause i haven't taken more than 3 days away since i started with Kinky Fight Club, and the vacations i was going to take after finishing KYFC were delayed to complete this demo) but don't worry, i'll be back soon and fix everything that needs a fix (here and on KYFC).

Now, for the features of the next build I'm gonna need your feedback!, and you will be the ones to decide the Second floor's theme! You can read more of that on the post below

Feedback Post!

Regarding Project Nexus

I kind of explained this in the previos bad news post, but we had to re-start a lot of the work on the project, but things aren't that terrible. I can guarantee that there won't be a tech demo this month, but maybe near the end of the november I can put up a small tech demo to showcase the idea of the project. Dungeon Coup however serves as a test ground for everything we are doing, so looking at DC you can get a basic idea of the play style we are going for in Project Nexus. (with some big differences like of course having the possiblity to shoot, attack, do backflips, and -most important- start sex moves).

And that's all i got for today

Thanks to all of you who are still here supporting me, it means a lot, both to me and to the -new- team that is working with me to make possible Project Nexus! - there is only so much I can do by myself, that's why thanks to your support I started to slowly expand, and your support means a lot and gives us the stability and safety to keep working as much as we do in the projects!

If you have any feedback, or bug reports, or critics, or anything feel free to share them on the Discord channel!

Have a great week and end of month!

I'll be back soon !

Cheers!

Comments

Hey, great feedback! i love these kind of detailed feedback posts! Im gonna make a roadmap post in a few days, i completely forgot about it! (and yeah, fixing camera clipping is a big priority when i get back)

Mr Zed

So i've tried playing through a couple of levels and felt like giving my first opinions. I'm liking this new style of gameplay this cat-and-mouse-like chase is quite fun, the only thing i'd change about it right now is the way the MC moves: the running feels a bit clunky, the delay you get whenever you try to start/stop moving or even when you turn around can get a bit annoying, especially when trying to run through a door you just opened; i would personally prefer having a less realistc type of movement in which the MC instantly starts moving at their top speed and can turn 360° on the spot becuase maneuverability is essential to be able to avoid those pesky subs (also because you can't get caught too many times since stamina regen is so slow). other than that i find a few camera bugs in which my pov would clip through a lantern or the ceiling and i couldn't see anything but i'm sure the dev team will sort that out in later builds. I'm curious what kind of contents you'll add next (a roadmap post would be nice to see :P). Enjoy your hard earned holidays!
