Shelby Mason for The Jungle

A few of our plants pop bright yellow, and bright orange, but our predominant maple tree, the big leaf maple, changes color kind of slowly in a way that leaves the outside edge of the leaf dead, and brown by the time the inner part of the leaf has yellowed. Its a little less than ideal.
So for this shoot with Shelby I decided to prune a center branch of my lone Japanese Maple, a treat I can't shoot with as it is in my driveway sandwiched between two homes. I hid the little branch in the background for some then we played with Shelby holding it a little. Gotta say I just love the way the tones came out.
