Coming from the North East I'm used to a very colorful, but short autumn. The leaves change and for a few days we are gifted with an amazing forest to run through, then inevitably a storm comes, the leaves, fall, and more often than not I'm away or busy the few days I could have spent capturing some amazing images. I've still managed to get out a couple of times, but I like to travel away from home as soon as summer ends, so I poor planning on my part I guess.
That said Nova Amour came out to Seattle right after I arrived and right at the beginning of the fall here, and I didn't really know what to expect. I wasn't planning on there being the incredible colors we found. While most of the trees are pine, and the most loved flora here seems to be moss there was still an incredibly vibrant layer of plants turning yellow as the temperature dropped. What I loved even more is that when you put those amazing plants next to the green both really shine in photos.
Nova is an absolutely incredible model as well, so with the beautiful cloudy skies acting as a giant soft box the images really create themselves. With so much color, talent, and beautiful light I feel like every location could be a book if I just never left. The intensity of the nature we are surrounded by out here was one of the big reasons for our move, and looking through these photos I think you will see why we have fallen in love with this landscape.
