Czepeku Resources
Added 2024-08-09 08:13:25 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
We get similar questions coming up a lot, so we wanted to spend some time showing you what useful resources are out there for finding the maps you want.
The biggest ones is: CZEPEKU.COM. If you haven't used it yet, please do. Dan and the rest of the dev team have put a ton of work into it. Here's some things you can do:

See All The Maps - View by thumbnail, organized chronologically.

Search By Monster - Search by size, type, alignment and CR. Every monster has a their 5e stat block, applicable maps to fight them in, and sometimes a fun encounter idea.

The search tool is powerful and allows you search by Tag. We get requests all the time asking 'why aren't there more open field/road/meadow/hill maps?' But using the right tags you can find so many!

Czepeku Blog - Written by members of our community (shoutout to Annie, Lethe and the team!) There's tons of great posts in there covering the best maps for particular biomes, campaign settings, and official WotC books.
There's also guides on how to upload maps and use maps in various VTTs. Whether you're using Alchemy, Foundry, Owlbear or others, there's probably a guide for you!

Czepeku Map Ledger - A perennially useful tool is the a community organised spreadsheet containing useful information the maps (shoutout to Mo and the team!)

Our website also lists our projects! Not only are we making fantasy battlemaps, but also RPG environment Scenes, Sci-Fi battlemaps and our newest project: fantasy Tokens. If you want to check out what else we do, that's the best place to start.

Alchemy VTT - We're also part of the team creating Alchemy VTT. Our goal with Alchemy is to make a free, easy to use VTT, with a beautiful UI and user experience. A lot of work constantly goes into navigation and UX so it's as slick and quick to use as possible. If you haven't given it a try, you should! :)

For those new to using Czepeku.com, we'll run you through some of the features. First, click the map you want to see in more detail. You'll be taken to a page like this.
On this page you'll find a link to 'Get this map on Patreon' clicking that will lead you to the download links.
Below that button are all the variations for that map. Click them to see them close up.
And at the bottom of the right hand menu is an Info tab, showing the size of the map in grid squares and pixels in case that's useful for printing or VTT setup.
As simple as that!
If there are specific tools, links, or search options you'd find useful but don't see here, please let us know! We're continually improving the site. :)

Lastly we want to share some works in progress from Czepeku Tokens. Customisation is at the heart of the tool, allowing you to switch body parts, items and outfits. Here's some explorations for drowned zombie heads and swashbuckler gnome items.
If customising your monsters sounds fun to you, check out the demo builder!

Thank you to everyone for supporting our work! We hope these tools help you to run the best games possible. <3 - Cze & Peku.

This is something we've been designing for Czepeku.com. We'd like to make that a possibility because lots of people only need to grab one or two variations rather than the whole pack.

2024-08-13 08:02:39 +0000 UTCI didn't know about the spreadsheet! What a great tool. I'm sure you've been asked this plenty, but is there or will there ever be a way to download individual maps from the sets? I'm guessing not, because it seems like it might be a headache to list every single individual item, but there are some maps that i have downloaded exclusively for one variation (i.e. a natural one), knowing that while i love the art the chances of me ever needing the base map are slim to none. I tend to keep all the maps "just in case" and sort them into thematic folders, but i do find myself thinking sometimes that it would be nice not to have to download the entire package just to get one Master Cartographer level map. Thanks for everything y'all continue to do and all the beautiful art you continue to bless us with!

2024-08-10 03:26:36 +0000 UTCDo patrons have any access to your content in Alchemy? I see you mention it, and I see where I could buy your maps in Alchemy, but I don't know if there's a way to link my Patreon account to Alchemy, or use a code to access your great content there. Thanks!

2024-08-09 22:58:00 +0000 UTCAll super cool my only wish is that I was able to easily subscribe to all rather than have scenes, maps , and tokens be separate subscriptions
