Layout, Layout, Layout

I've been spending a lot of time this month reformatting all of Volume 2 into book-shape.  A lot of what's on the web site will end up rearranged for print, so I thought I'd share a little bit of what I'm doing.  Above are some sample page spreads.

I've also attached a downloadable ZIP file here that contains the layouts  for the first half of the book.  There are some obvious rough spots where I'll be going back to rejigger/repaint come large panels, places where I need to do color and value correction still, and a lot of blank spaces where the dialogue will be, but it's otherwise representative of how the book is shaping up, in case anyone is curious to see.

Of course, the last of the comic art is still yet to be completed, but it's getting there. I'll host another livestream this week while I'm doing some more work on that!  Details soon.

Downloading the file as we speak. I've managed to catch up with your updates, saving it till I got home from vacation. = ) And because you shared this lovely gift, I've got something to share back. I'll have to save it for after I come back from work at the casino tomorrow - got a couple of photos and a local soundtrack I found while I was visiting Berkeley in California, their music, I feel, will help you through those long nights working on the project! Be back soon Tracy!

Man alive, that's a hell of a lot of layout and work! Honestly, my absolute kudos to you for this - this should be the Oxford English Dictionary's visual definition of INTENSE. :-)

Oh my goodness that looks like a lot of work. @_@ No wonder you've been talking about it for so long, having to rearrange basically every page must be daunting.

Recremen

Wow, a lot of work there. You are one busy lady.

This looks absolutely wonderful! And I think it was just the push I needed to go right back to the beginning of the comic and read it all again (I always go back a couple of pages when you update, but it's been ages since I read through it in one go :D)

This kind of work shows why Lackadaisy is the comic I share with someone first, to find out if we can even be friends. If they don't fall in love at first sight we're not going to see eye to eye on important things.

It's like a kitten made of light is licking my brain and pouring me a cocktail.
