I'm Gohar, and my world ended a few years ago after the collapse followed 44 days of the war. Back then, I dreamed about beautiful weddings, shiny gifts, and a big family supported by a strong husband. In the dream, we lived in his rich family house with his brothers, parents, and grandparents. I dreamed of beautiful clothes and rich jewelry my husband would have gifted me.
People said diamonds were the girl's best friend. Maybe they were, but now I know better. The girl's best friend is clean water and an assault rifle with a few ammunition boxes and a spare magazine.
