Added 2024-06-24 10:27:03 +0000 UTCWhen scrolling through my Instagram feed yesterday, I saw this posting by @katerimodel asking for a photographer taking more pictures like the one above ... Those who follow me for a longer time know, that Kate is one of my favorite models. Actually I like the idea of a series with a messy beauty like this and started to think about it. Kate is a model which would play that role perfectly.
Of course, for my way of shooting there should result a series of 15-20 pics in a location other than a studio. That means, we need a location matching this trashy style - e.g. an industrial style studio, with concrete, steel, old wood etc. There are locations like this e.g. in Speyer (Bau113), Frankfurt (Schaerferaum), Leipzig (ISO60) or Berlin (Salon Incanto).
Besides a model able to play that role we also need to think about make up and hair - ideally, the model should be able to do this by herself - easy with the make up but more difficult with the hair. Of course we could work with a MUA but this would add costs and 3 people are more difficult to sync than just 2.
Outfits would be lingerie, stockings, garter belt, high heels, sun glasses ... combined with weird, non-standard, not perfect posing.
As Kate is currently not available in Germany I will either wait until we have this opportunity or I use this idea with another model - have added this to my list of shooting ideas ...
