I don’t agree at all with the people blaming Shae but that’s putting way too much blame on the mother and being too harsh especially when it’s pretty common with DV victims to still not be able to process or understand how the person they married or dating could go from how they were in the beginning seeming like they actually care for them and could never hurt them then eventually show their true colors or like the dad have certain things play a role in why they changed for the worse but still doesn’t justify abusing someone and the abuser will find a way to blame the victim saying well it’s your fault for doing this and that’s why I hit you then will constantly do that making the victim almost believe it’s their fault. The abusers also find a way to cut them off from their family and friends making them dependent on them so that they have no one to turn to and no where to go. I would almost say that Shaes mom has Stockholm syndrome and she could feel like she owes it to the man she married before the abuse or obligated to stay in the relationship and get him help. So the way you speak about Shae’s mom is like victim blaming

She’s done neither bc she still harbors this pathetic hope that the father is just sick and needs help. That’s dangerous for the daughter. The mom is stuck in an abusive relationship but with the money shae saved and made they could’ve left a long time ago. They only started shae trusted her lol and her mom was a fool. Putting ur daughter in harms way over a Fantasy is bad
