Hello patrons! After a major illness with my tonsils in August, things are back to normal and I'm preparing for shoots in October, which is when my tenure as a high school teacher wraps up.
I haven't done any shoots since June and in the interim I've been thinking of new ways to do this stuff; one avenue that really excites me is to follow in the footsteps of my favorite instant film artists of the 1970s, who largely used the magnificent Polaroid SX-70. It was an SLR instant camera (meaning you can actually compose the image rather than guesstimating), super sharp, with a variety of aperture choices. The New Polaroid corporation sells refurbished SX-70s for $400, so I decided to set a goal to get this camera via selling instax and zines.
I'll be posting groups of instax and zines over the next couple weeks, but before I do that, any specific model requests, send my way! Instax are $10 a piece, 6 for $50, so send your early requests my way and I'll let you know what I have!
