Flood Watch

First let me stress that me and the family are totally fine and in no danger, unless we sink into the lawn trying to go outside.
Having said that, the area I live in is currently under a flood warning and there may be disruptions to services (power/internet). My house is nice and high up, so we won't be underwater or anything, but if I don't get any posts up over the next while, this will be why.
Again, I'm fine, but do spare a thought for those less fortunate who've already had to evacuate their homes.
It's a little surreal for me having all this water around, when I grew up in the area we had 12 straight years of crushing drought. You weren't even allowed to wash your car with a hose! Now some places are quite literally up to their eyeballs in water.

Dealing with flood here too. House likely to be half a metre under in a day or so. Hopefully not but doesn't look good. Such a pain
