This is true love, a connection unbound by any judgement or external circumstances, this series may just be my all time favorite 🥹

I LOVE maple syrup!

Angel

Oh I guess that's also pretty good. Well if you ever travel to Canada you should definitely buy some maple syrup. It's delicious with waffles, crepes, french toast and even pork.

The Goat Lord

Butter and jam/honey 😊

Angel

Now that's weird. Even as native french speaker, somehow I feel like even if you would do a full french version of this audio I would still prefer the english one. I don't really know why. Perhaps there is this intriguing notion of speaking in a foreign language with your native accent. It gives a certain charm, a little je-ne-sais-quoi that makes it unique. But it's just an "humble avis" from a citizen of the weirdest place in the world. Where we blend together the most french ingredients : french fries, cheese and what americans call "gravy sauce" which clearly is inferior to it's french name "sauce brune" which sounds much more ("appétissant") by the way.🙃 Which leads to the most unfrench looking-like meal ever : "poutine". To finish with this unrelated-to-the-audio part of my comment, I wonder what do people in France put on their french toast ? 🤔 Here in Quebec we usually put maple syrup on our "pain perdu" which we call "pain doré". (Honestly their is basically no difference except that we usually don't make it with hard bread that is going to get "lost", we just take regular slices of a white bread loaf.) Great audio by the way.

The Goat Lord

Hehe, it's good to be back. I've been away for far too long. As for the little Easter egg hunt, I feel like I'm too far behind in the Storm Cinematic Universe (SCU) to be able to pick out many of the references. That and history was probably my worst subject in school! 🤣 But heck, I'll give it a shot when I get to the video, why not. The little hunt during the Maeve video was so fun to do despite never having watched the show. 😊 I'm so happy to hear that you've found your footing and are pursuing what you're passionate about, which is storytelling! And this is definitely not to discount your more relaxing sleep aid videos as those are also a godsend every time I need to wind down and relax. I fell asleep to part 1 of the French maid audio so many times and fell in love with that audio. But I also love your stories for their sheer engagement and theatre! Variety is the spice of life, they say. Ah yes, the orange juice, it has been quite a while since I've had freshly squeezed fruit juice in general. Darn you capitalism and easily accessible pre-packaged juices! The fact that you were actually doing it makes it all the better haha. Just like that one audio where you were actually eating a bowl of ice cream like your character. 😂 These little touches are what I love about your audios too and always has me wondering how content creators who make their own sounds do it. I can't imagine having to move my mic to the kitchen or somewhere else to record a specific sound since my yeti is mounted on my computer desk with a boom arm. It would be such a hassle to have to set it up again. Props to you for doing it!

Aura

Oh, Aura, I’ve missed your long, specific, insightful comments! 🥹 If your analytical mind is up for a challenge, you should check out my latest sleep aid audio and go on a little Easter egg hunt 😏
You’re quite right: Part 1 had a different vibe since it was one of my first videos. I aimed for a more “ASMR” feel than a story-driven one, but the storyteller in me just couldn’t stay silent for long. That’s why I consider myself more of a roleplayer than an ASMR-rtist. And yes! The F4M and F4F versions are much more distinct this time, given the time period. I couldn't simply swap "master" for "mistress" and call it a day; it needed to be entirely different. The reason the runtime is similar is to maintain consistency with the sound effects and music, so the word count had to match.
As for the maid making lemonade and orange juice, it couldn’t be more authentic—I recorded those sounds myself while pressing an orange! 😂

Angel

Depends on what melts the fastest with a warmth like that🥰

Sikanda

But is it raclette or fondue? 🤔

Angel

Oh yes I will make a compilation soon! ❤️

Angel

The storytelling, the music at the end. Such a masterpiece. Please let this Maid series never end 😍

Sören Dhakra

I, for one, appreciate a good read. Thanks for your well wishes, and I hope the same for you, Aura. I honestly fell asleep during the second one, so I guess I need to relisten to it. PS- Don't worry too much about the length; comments lkke these are collapsible.

The joyous route that we had all been patiently waiting for! A match maid in heaven I’d say! And now, with that terrible (but mandatory) pun out of the way, *SPOILERS* for BOTH F4M and F4F versions lie ahead. Heed caution! ******************************* My my, it has been a while since I’ve truly indulged in one of your audios, Storm, and what an audio to mark my first listen since coming back. The sheer story, drama, and literature in this story have been nothing short of outstanding and I’ve been thoroughly impressed by this series. Who would’ve thought the sweet French Maid who pampered us by reading beautiful poetry and humming the sweetest melodies to us, all while brushing our hair, would enchant and charm us in so many more ways than was expected?! In preparation for this audio, I listened to Part 1 again today and listened to both variants of Part 2 for the first time today, and it really puts into perspective the entire story so much better. It is very interesting to listen to the subtle differences in audio mastering between Part 1, and now 2 and 3. Part 1 felt a lot closer and more intimate. Parts 2 and 3 emphasize a far wider range of soundstage and help to establish the sense of space and the surroundings all around our characters in the story. As mentioned previously, I always try to listen to both variations if provided as I just wish to enjoy both perspectives (and so I can have an excuse to listen to an audio twice) and I am glad I did for this one as well. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me when I listened to the F4F variation for my second go at the audio. When it came to the section on poetry reading, I could’ve sworn the F4M version (which I had listened to first) did not start the same way. Going back and relistening to that version confirmed my doubts. Two different poems, both different in their own right, yet similar as well, in their desire and sense of longing. I cannot express just how excited I was at this discovery and my heart was racing to find more differences in how the stories played out. The confrontation with the friend filled this sense of excitement even more as I’m so impressed with how you wrote entirely different scenarios for the two variants. It is so interesting to see the two stories being so cognizant of the societal norms at the time (which I presume is some time in the past, as lords and ladies seemed aplenty in this story) and thus the two stories playing out the way they did. The intermission back at the estate was also oh so very sweet and I loved how caring and kind the speaker is! The masquerade ball to send us off on this journey was an exquisite treat indeed. And once again, the difference in how the stories play out while being very aware of the societal norms of the time greatly impressed me. An elegant dance with the master, and a simple yet beautiful chat with the mistress. The confession shortly following simply melted my heart. It was so genuine and heartfelt, and the words were so sincere and moving, that I couldn’t hold back tears. I must admit, I did shed a few, but out of sheer joy at this sequence. One thing I found very interesting is that the speaker talks about being able to recognize the listener just by their posture and body language alone. I want to believe that the listener also recognized the speaker in some way, seeing as they are wholly enchanted by the speaker's character as well and cannot sleep or think of anything but them. And not to mention that the listener seems to only have one Maid attending to them! So the listener approaching the Maid to dance/chat and ultimately the scenes after playing out the way they did isn’t so farfetched of an idea at all. 🤭 One other thing is that, despite the differences in the two variants, you still kept runtimes exactly the same. Now that's skill! There is so much more I want to talk about, but this is quickly encroaching on 5-page-article territory and maybe even more if I continue to gush over how much I love this character and their story so far. Still, I do want to emphasize just how amazing this journey has been and how you always manage to bring your stories and characters to life in the best ways possible. Your amazing VA work carefully portrays emotions of mirth, sorrow, shock, and the many other flavours of emotions you choose to portray. I adored the monologues and the play-by-play that the speaker provides. It adds so much context to what could otherwise be lost. The myriad sounds used to add immersion is a pleasant symphony and I’m truly impressed every time. The section of the audio where the speaker prepares the refreshing fruit juice for the guests, all while humming a hauntingly beautiful tune, was a delight to my ears and it was such a relaxing scene, perfect as a sort of “calm before the storm”. And the music, oh the music. It’s always a welcoming experience and I can feel goosebumps and tingles all over when the music kicks in and hits JUST right in your audios. Now it may be folly to hope for this, and I know your stories usually end at Part 3, but I can’t help but hope for a Part 4 to truly send these two off on this journey. Perhaps a Part 4, depicting our characters finally getting married, societal rules and norms be damned. An ending where our speaker character finally gets the fairytale life she has always longed for. I don’t think my heart would be able to handle such wholesomeness and I would bawl like a baby if it were to ever happen! This has been an extensive post. But this audio series deserves recognition and love. Thank you for creating such beautiful and immersive stories for us, Storm, and for this gift of an experience! Here’s to wishing you an amazing day and a wonderful week. And thanks to September Dexter for sponsoring this series’ Parts 2 and 3. P.S. If you actually got this far, wow, you’re a trooper! Thank you for reading and I apologize for the lack of brevity. I hope your days have been going well and if they haven’t been, then don’t give up hope. You are loved and are amazing in your own ways and do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Have a wonderful day and a beautiful week. 😊 P.S.S Patreon REALLY needs an expand option for long comments on browser 🥲. Apologies to everyone for this post taking up your entire screen.

A magic kiss, you say? Now I wish I hadn't parried that jab to my lips.

This is such a beautiful story Storm ⛈️. Please consider making a putting all three stories together. The maid’s place is by his side. Together walking hand in hand through their life’s journey. “Illuminated the shadows of existence. “ “Bask in your affection” Such beautiful use of language. Great job Storm! Great job.
