Legit this show is just nothing but goated, the way it's able to illustrate hatred so beautifully in this piece of work is beautifully done as aot does a beautiful job at showcasing how hatred and trauma can ultimately affect them. Not to mention now that you have watched this episode, as the episodes go forward, this season goes hard in showcasing the absolute horrors Eren's actions cause

But, I also realize why he couldn't. IF he told those Mayonaisions that and left it, we see from IRL what would happen. It's going on in our country right now (America). Tell one group of people they are actually the oppressors and they lose their damn minds. The majority can't disconnect from the privilege they've been fed at the cost of other people's pain. They start lying, cheating, destroying history, rigging elections etc. And other Mayonaisions will watch it unfold while pretending to be allies (speaking on the ones who have the power to actually stop it). Secretly, they won't breathe a word of objection because they know the horrible nature of what they are doing won't *actually* touch them. And they have no reason to believe in the consequences of their actions, historically. Meanwhile the rest of the populace grows restless, anxious and fear filled. They are presented ill feelings without a focus. That's the situation that those kindled in hatred dislike the most. They need someone, something to focus their hatred on. In a way what Tybur did was very smart. He reinforced their beliefs, only to rip that away from them. Then he Immediately directed all of their uneasiness, anxiety and hatred. He directed it to one focal point. Eren. It can't be stopped now, they won't stop until Paradis is wiped off the map.
