10/20/25 Weekly Update

Last week:
I managed to squeak by with everything I planned last week, getting the V0.1.3 rough release pushed out, as well as the scheduled release of Chapter 10 of Under Her Influence. Plus, I had some spare time which went toward the very first Near N. Far Micro: Bad Roommate Blues! This one was all blueberry, all the way, so I'm sure the fanbase for that among my supporters isn't as big, but believe it or not, I got my smut publishing start with blueberry stories. In fact, you can still find my old ebook Serum Blue on Smashwords and other ebook retailers. I like to think my writing's improved a ton since then.

So yeah, a lot happened last week. And you know what? A lot more is coming this week! Speaking of:

This week:
Whole lot of stuff coming in the next few days around here! First, next week is planned to be the first ongoing (non-commissioned) story chapter release since I set out to make the 2 chapters/month thing happen (then all hell broke loose on my schedule about every two weeks for some time...)

Anyway, to prep for that, I'll put up a poll for Patrons to decide which of the three current stories will get the next chapter. I honestly lost all track of the rotation... Watch for the poll to hit this page not long after this update post.

Next up, I've shared Bad Roommate Blues here for paid Patrons already, but I'll be sharing it on SwellTales later today for everyone else. So, if you're one of my free followers, you can watch for it over there.

Keeping the fun stuff rolling on the page, I'll be sharing a new Isle of Eros Dev Journal later in the week for the paid Patrons. This one is going to be taking a closer look at how I handle locations in my Twine games. If you're into the behind-the-scenes stuff, it should be at least moderately interesting.

Finally, I've got a relatively open week this week, so that means lots more work on Version 0.1.4 of Isle of Eros, with another rough release coming hopefully sometime in early November. I'm around halfway through what I'd planned for the big "Up and Away" Update, so after 0.1.4's rough release, I'm thinking 0.1.5 will probably be a clean release for everyone. I don't want to keep you guys waiting longer than I have to, but I don't currently have a good estimate of how long it'll be before I'm at that point. Once the "Up and Away" update is live for all (maybe a little before), I'll put out a patron poll to decide which cryptically titled update will be next.

I find it unlikely that I'll have time to get to another MicroStory this week, but who knows? Maybe we'll see a nice little smutty surprise toward the end of the week if game dev is going particularly well.
