Soooo Go get a set of night vision goggles? Then you could see whats down range and shoot at night?

Clifton Ballad

Great video! Old mil-surplus tracers usually only light off around 10% of the time. They also usually need about 100 yards or so before lighting even when fresh. They always will give a nice flash when hitting something hard.

First, Second, Forth, etc. If you are interested in keeping your rights, politics is a sad necessity.

I think he had to mention "politics" at least a little otherwise people might think he was using a gun in California that is not legal to have in that state. But he did go beyond that absolute necessity. You might not like that and are free to say so, but he was also free to say what he said. I do understand the whole tired of politics in general thing though, it is getting rather thick in our world right now to say the least.

A semi-auto AR-10 is only illegal in CA and other fallen states, completely legal in the free states. Also, he could also mean it has no serial number which is legal if and only if the guns receiver was built from scratch or from an 80% or less receiver kit by the current owner of the rifle. Any gun that is sold by the person or company that originally owned it must be serial numbered and the serial number recorded before the sale. But if it wasn't sold and the person who made the receiver is the owner then it can actually be legal and still be undocumented. At least in the free states, some of the fallen states may have state laws requiring full serialization and not allow even the builder/owner exception that federal law allows.

As far as tracers go, at least the old mil. surp. ones, most of them don't light and are duds. Reason I know this is I got thousands of them years back in 5.56 size because they were really cheap compared to even the cheapest ammo and used them for plinking ammo. Every once in a while one of them would light and you would see the orange streak go down range but like 95% of them were duds and would not light the tracer. I think that is probably why the military sells so many of them off as mil. surp. they must have a limited shelf life and if they don't use them up after so many years they have to replace them because the tracer won't reliably light up anymore.

Totally enjoyed the video..

Not sure how I feel about the use of an undocumented (i.e. illegal?) rifle.

.308 AP is some scary ammo!

Great video guys, and I actually got two ads! Woohoo, there's a quarter of a penny for ya. But better than usual.

i wasn't talking about the 2nd amendment! and omg. i'm talking politics now, stop it!

George Hilty

Our rights should be non-political. It's a shame many politicians choose to disregard the Constitution.

JimboTheWelder

please leave the politics out of the videos, i get enough of it everywhere else, lol
