2022-07-24 02:32:23 +0000 UTCWalt Disney World. There's always something to do, and the people who work there are always super-nice. Yeah, there's a lot of artificiality to it, but it really is artificial and knows it. Most other vacation spots are just pretending with their artificiality, they aren't serious about it. An authentic bed and breakfast in rural Maine is great, but the charm is almost as manufactured as is the Pirates of the Caribbean. The pretense at Disney is more fun. My life is pretty darn authentic, I go on vacation to get away from such earnestness.
