BTS - Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) Reaction

I’m not a fan of Meagan’s music so I was worried but I have much respect for what she did here. I expected her to go harder than she did but feel she reined herself in with the idea of how widespread the age range range is of BTS’s fan base. It was a smart business move on her end because her label definitely isn’t making them for her so I give her props. The verse she did was good, her integration with Suga was nice. I still prefer the original but definitely prefer her remix of Butter to the Idol remix. So although I may not be a fan of Meagan, I do respect her talent and the business decision she made here. I hope she continues to have success in-spite of whatever roadblocks her label may try to put in her way.

The ‘Butter’ Steve Aoki remix was fire.

My expectations were at “On” feat Sia level so I was pleasantly surprised with this remix. Let’s leave it at that lol. Agree that a lyric video would be better but I was thinking the whole time they prepared all this last minute since they were not sure if they can release the song due to the lawsuit. HYBE did not even have a teaser prepared and the promo materials Megan was Tweeting were all fan made. Wish they can perform this live in the future (VMAs?) now THAT would be something. Agree with Danny — it may not reach #1 but for sure it will be on the Top 10. Hoping though it reaches #1 as a big fuck you to Megan’s label.

Megan rocks whatever she raps in, that's just being honest. I'm not personally a fan of any BTS song, save for 1. This is an okay enough song but not something I'd add to my playlist.

To be honest I didn't really care for it. I think it could have been better it was definatly way over hyped

I don't believe it was necessary for her to hit harder in this song. What she added fits in well. It's a cute song to begin with, and she made it cuter. Very charming. Expectations make things weird, don't they?

People hype me up and the remix it's ok but there's nothing special u.u To me they will chart in Billboard 1 tho

I love the remix and I do think she could have went harder and a bit more adult like but this remix definitely tops On, idol and make it right

You guys were too nice. Remix, collab - whatever you want to call it, really wasn’t worth it. Maybe if there was a second verse. Otherwise I’d rather just take the original. Or the Steve Aoki dance remix version he played in his thank you video for Mic Drop.

Although I like the song, I agree with both Danny & David. From a musician/artist standpoint, a remix is technically either entirely different music with same lyrics but different vocals - meaning sung differently. So far, for these "remixes" the vocals are remaining the same. Megan verse was just that a verse and tame at that. I was kinda hoping for...more adult lyrics since BTS are grown men. Just waiting for the day when they can actually have songs that shows a Boys to Grown 🍑 Men evolution. All that to say.....the remix is cute. Most of Army will go crazy. I'd like to see what Megan's song with BTS will sound like. 😬😛

This is a short song to begin with. Visuals would make this better because it's a great song with Megan on top.

I liked it but I wish Megan had more lines during suga’s rap verse. Overall it was a good song

I hope you guys listen to it again. You missed when she was rapping with SUGA. That was very cool. Also, the addition of the background vocals was a nice touch.

Though I don't think any remix could beat the original for me, I thought this was great. :) I liked how she integrated with Suga's rapping and hope to see that live one day. But who knows.

I agree, this remix was better than the Nicki Minaj Idol version. Wish there was a video for this remix. Hopefully they will get to perform it together when BTS comes to NY in September. 💜

I think this is one of the better remixes they have released . Her rap flows well but it became a bit underwhelming aftee the hype of the lawsuit . I did not like some of the dynamite remixes but i gove tvis a thumbs up. I would have been nice with a lyric video and mayby see her rap .
