I was born during world war 2 and my earliest memories after it was of wishing intensely that I were a girl or at least be like a girl, mix with girls, behave like girls and dress like girls. That was something that could not be talked about then except when i played with two girls of my age who lived next door and who let me wear their dresses when we we not likely to be disturbed by parents. So it is a delight to see how Chris and his playmate look so comfortable and natural in their dresses and makeup. Brilliant scenes designed with exquisite nuance.
