A Map of the Inner Sea and Surrounding Nations (high-res)

This should make a few patrons very happy :)

So, after having to upgrade my RAM to be able to work on this map, and still having to wait for ages every time I opened the map or did any changes to it, the Inner Sea map I started a few years ago is finally done.

I had stopped a while ago after flattening the image with no backup by mistake and had to practically start over from scratch, so gave up. Since then I'd made a lot of changes to the topography of the surrounding regions anyway so it would have been outdated by now anyway!

The map focuses on the main region of Elyden, where more of the atlas maps I've made so far are located. For a list of all the maps you can check out here.

The map is HUGE, as I'm sure you'll see when you open it. To be able to work on it had to split it into 4 separate files, each building atop the last - one with details like roads, icons, forests, deserts, etc.; another with the cartouches and textboxes (with the previous details all flattened); and a third with labels (With all previous details flattened); and a fourth, with changes to brightness, saturation etc. and everything else flattened.

I'm really glad that this is done as it was such a slog to get through. Photoshop stopped numbering the layers when i exceeded 3000 text layers so I have no idea how many layers there were before I rasterized them to apply layer styles.

To anyone interested, this is a redesign of an old map I did that won the Cartographers choice award, over SEVEN years ago(!) on the cartographers guild. I feel old now :)
