Abridge spanning the narrowest part of the Strait of Nárthel, around half-a-mile wide, originally connecting Lyridia in the N with Nárthel in the S. Before the Strait of Nárthel silted up this was the only way across the waters.

Though the bridge dates back to the Fourth Age, both sides were heavily fortified and manned at various times throughout the Fifth Age, taxing those wishing to cross it and defending it against attack, though with the drying up of the strait and the appearance of multiple permanent natural crossing points, including the land beneath the bridge itself, by c. 3500 RM, the importance of the bridge lessened, until it was abandoned by both sides.
