The Erradi-class frigate, specifically the Erradii, is a MEKO A-200AN frigate designed by Blohm + Voss. It has a full load displacement of 3,700 tonnes, a length of 121 meters, and a beam of 16.3 meters. The propulsion system is a CODAG WARP configuration, with two MTU diesel engines and a General Electric LM2500 gas turbine powering a waterjet. It can reach speeds of 28 knots and has a range of 7,200 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 16 knots. It carries a complement of 120 personnel. The armament includes one Otobreda 127 mm/64 gun, two 30 mm DS30M Mark 2 guns, and up to four 12.7 mm M2HB Browning machine guns. For surface warfare, it has 16 Saab RBS 15 Mk 3 anti-ship missile launchers and 32 vertical launching system cells for Denel Umkhonto-IR anti-aircraft missiles. It also features two twin 324 mm torpedo tubes for MU90 Impact torpedoes. For electronic warfare and decoys, it is equipped with two Rheinmetall MASS decoy launchers and two Leonardo WASS C310 decoy launchers. The ship's sensors and electronic systems include the Sea Giraffe AMB radar, CEROS 200 Fire Control Radars, VisionMaster FT navigation radars, and the Atlas Elektronik ASO 723 sonar, among others. Additionally, the Erradii can accommodate two AgustaWestland Super Lynx 300 helicopters on its flight deck and hangar, which are capable of anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare.
