Patreon Discord Entry Poll

I've noticed some of the chattiest folk in the patreon discord aren't actually paying patrons, and some of them are making the same requests over and over. (Of course if you're supporting us financially, you're welcome to make whatever requests you like!)
D'you fine folk mind sharing with the freeloaders? or would you prefer we make that branch of our community a lil more exclusive? ;)

Sounds like a good idea. Lemme work out how big a rigmarole it'll be to implement. ;)

2024-08-05 20:43:24 +0000 UTCI’m late to the discussion, but I’m frankly surprised (perhaps naive) that some of the most active chat participants are not subscribers. Call me old school (which I guess I am now that I’m in my 50’s), but making repeated requests when you’re not a member strikes me as ballsy and presumptuous. I don’t want to limit new ideas and innovation, but you should have a vested interest in the product before you ask for something new or different.

So it's still nice to have something like it even for those not paying (whether temporarily or never decided to). Another option is to keep suggestions & other content oriented channels patron only, having only the main/general open to public chatting.

2024-07-26 15:54:23 +0000 UTCIn a practical sense I'm fine with general chat, not being limited to patrons, and while I'm not against suggestions for stuff yeah it is kind of annoying that we have the same posts over and over from the same people that are just blatantly, "Do my kink" without even the attempt at making the suggestion something that might be interesting for people who aren't into that kink.
