Blizzard Watch Podcast: The calculus of Diablo's seasons

This week's Blizzard Watch Podcast preshow, Matt talks about the game Wildermyth, and specifically how it's sort of similar to D&D. As such, of course, one of the most fun parts of the game is character creation. Plus, the one thing that the Oblivion remaster has made everyone want to do is re-download Skyrim and play that. Our fourth host this week, Liz Patt, is playing Mudborne, where you get to be a frog with a hat. If you aren't interested in frogs with hats, you can skip the preshow, which ends at 24:40 (Though... really? You don't like little frogs with little frog hats? What has this world become?)

The Infinite Pirate Dragon is, of course, the top story this week in the main podcast. It comes in patch 11.1.7 as a part of Turbulent Timeways, and while we're unsure that it has anything to do with the Arathi narratively, that's what headcanon is for. Our resident Diablo expert Liz Patt joined our regular hosts Matt, Liz, and Joe to explain the mess that is the Diablo 3 seasonal rotation, and also the mess that is Diablo 4's new season and its many, many currencies.
