Points Update #26 - The Final Points Digest.

As much as I love the points system, I have come to a decision with a heavy heart. I will be phasing this out this month. This is because I'm actually doing something that I'm actually trying to avoid in the first place: doing commissions (well, in this case, Patreon rewards) constantly. With the amount of higher-tier patrons getting large, I decided to phase this out.

I realize the reason I'm not really doing much in terms of my own progress is that I just end up worrying about the point rewards and finishing them, like a looming threat standing in a corner with an axe. By not doing this, I would be free of concerns on that over time and spending time on what you guys should be paying for when pledging with me, with your pledges ended up to be more worth it.

I don't think limiting every patron's point gain would work too as it's kinda delaying to the same result, making it slower. I would love to hear of ideas to replace this though! I still want to give something more rewarding to the patrons.

Anyway, I'm not taking anyone's points away. You can still use them as if the points system is still there: you can give it to others, hold on to it, use it for discount commissions, and alike. Exactly the same as before. Plus, I am still finishing the queue no matter what. I don't like abandoning requests after you all waited for so long.

I wish I could have written this earlier to give you all more time to remove your pledge if your incentive is the points. For that I am sorry.

Please, if you're staying for the points, you are free to remove your pledge.
I will be providing Patreon-exclusive commission choices in the future, however!

Your points will be kept, even if you remove your pledge. You can always find them in the Points Card. (I actually updated the points already back in the second week of October... oops.)

This points digest this time there will be no progress updates because there's literally nothing interesting to say to all of them that would warrant them.
