118 - The Hobbit
Added 2021-10-01 00:01:19 +0000 UTCI don't know about you, but I think Matt sounds more like a Troll in the beginning of this episode. Thank you so much for being a Winged Hussar!

You're welcome! If you like the wheel of time I think you'll really like it
2021-11-05 23:32:44 +0000 UTCI've not read Warbreaker, but Sanderson absolutely nailed the last three books of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I've been meaning to to get to more books by him; I might just go for this one. Thanks!
2021-11-05 22:29:48 +0000 UTCLOTR was pretty much my whole pre-teen years and I was obsessed. Drawing weaponry in school notebooks, re-watching every movie at the time over and over. Best memories of my life with my childhood best friend. This brought back some memories.
2021-10-17 01:30:50 +0000 UTCHey guys I have a book suggestion for you. If you haven't read it before you should check out Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. I think you'll really like it.
2021-10-11 14:05:33 +0000 UTCAwesome to hear y’all talk about Andrew Peterson. He is a phenomenal musician and songwriter. His three albums in the Resurrection Letters series are a great listen (Prologue, volume 1, volume 2). My family has yet to crack open the Wingfather Saga, though. I did my undergrad at the same college Andrew graduated from, although I started 4 years after he left. Sort of took his talent for granted when he performed local / small shows in the early 2000s. He would be a great guest on NDQ.

2021-10-04 17:22:26 +0000 UTCExcited to hear you both are going to read the Wingfeather Saga. I tried to read it with my kids, but a few were a bit too young and got freaked out. But I ended up reading it all myself cause it was so enjoyable. And man, does it have some feels in there! Would love a NDQ episode on that series!
