Billie Selfie Alt. Versions
Added 2025-04-09 16:54:46 +0000 UTCAs I mentioned before, these renders are not the best I've done, but making renders based on real people is a bit more complicated than it seems, of course, if they don't play some comic book character in movies, which brings me to the next point, these renders caused some controversy and I would really like to know your opinion on this type of renders that involve modified 3D models of people IRL. (｡>﹏<)

Yeah renders based off of real people can be a bit tricky in terms of a creativity standpoint on what to do with them since there's really no revolving theme around them unlike fictional characters in video games, shows, movies, anime, etc that do have their own specific theme and personality which is completely understandable in regards to you saying that doing renders off of real people is complicated in which you are indeed 100% correct on that. In terms of the controversy, to be honest Nix, I wouldn't care what other people think regarding these renders if they dislike them and such. Real people have been shown in 3D and 2D artwork plenty of times for over the course of many years by other artists which is pretty much the norm in the art community so I honestly don't know why some people here are all of sudden making a fuss over it and why it's all of a sudden a problem. If they dislike these renders, then that's their problem and too bad for them lol. The great thing about artwork is that if you don't like it, then you simply don't have to look at it lol. It's really that simple. XD You are the Boss and you run the show here so I believe you can create whatever you want to create and if you want to create renders off of real people, then all the power to you my friend! Go for it! :D I remember you stated on one of the previous BE posts that you wanted to give these types of renders a shot since Rude Frog and the other artists inspired you a bit to do these types of renders and a lot of people here voted for her anyway which is pretty much what the majority here wanted to see so it honestly all came together in fruition as the perfect opportunity to do these so all the power to you Nixmare! And besides, you've already created renders off of a few real people before in the past such as Nicki Minaj, Scarlett Johansson, and Gal Gadot so it's really not that different at all whatsoever regarding Billie. Those are my thoughts. :) Version 2 of her entire render set by the way looks fantastic between the new background you added for her selfie renders, the new lighting, and the new adjustments so hats off to you Nix! Splendid work my dude!! :D

People like Billie have some ‘Assets’ that to me make sense on why she’d be used for works like this, but I don’t expect every good looking actress to go well on models. The ones I’ve seen worked out very well, like the ones of Black Widow and Wonder Woman. Like I said, it varies on wether it’s good or bad depending on the person in question. Side note: Renders are peak big dog 👏
