I am more a fan of her "spicy" version, but the shorter boots do have their own charm too. Perhaps Reiko's exact style and length might indeed be thigh boots on you, but I would be shocked if those clever boot makers have not thought of some clever way to create a similar look for women with a different leg length than Reiko's. However, fashion expert I am not! Haha.
