2020-05-02 12:27:41 +0000 UTCI talked about this a bit in my Top 10 Smallville Plotholes video. Honestly, I think the hair color is the only thing that's off. Julian and Tom's facial structures are pretty similar. Put Julian next to Helen Slater and I can kind of see the resemblance.

2020-05-02 06:37:45 +0000 UTCThis is a good episode. I liked this Jor El but an actor whom would had looked a little more like TW would had been a better option since young Jor El was the spitting image of Clark, so is a little weird now to have blonde Jor El.

2020-05-02 05:39:53 +0000 UTCYeah I wished Clark had more time with Jor-El even if he was a clone, it would have been nice to see some heart to heart or some bonding moments. But at least he managed to say how proud he was of Clark.. still a very sad moment and death that Clark had to experience again. But yeah like Olivia said, Martha and Jonathan raised Clark well and to be a very good person. There were so many times where he could have snapped and went dark, but he didn’t cuz of the way he’s been raised and to have a good heart. It could be his weakness to see the good in everybody, but that’s also his strength at the same time. There are some ppl that can be saved and others that just can’t be saved no matter how much you try to help that person. Got to love the parallelism of Joe-El x ZOD and Clark x Lex.. loyal friends turned into enemies.

2020-05-02 04:49:03 +0000 UTCI love the idea that Jor-El and Zod were friends at first just like Clark and Lex were
2020-05-02 04:25:30 +0000 UTCRemember Jonathan and Martha were Clarks parents, that is why he is a good guy despite all the crap he goes through.

2020-05-02 02:19:50 +0000 UTCIf it wasnt clear, Zod had a wife and son in Kandor years ago that died when Kandor was destroyed. Over the next twenty years was when he married Faora (one of his cadets who's also one of the clones that came out of the orb) and they created Doomsday. Given how he lost his family before, it must've been even more painful to not be able to have a child with his new wife. So it makes sense that he would be willing to go to drastic measures to create one and desemate Earth in the process. This Jor-el kind of supports what I've been saying for a while. If the actual Jor-el was still alive and mentoring Clark, he'd probably be more patient and loving and his methods would be less drastic.
