Smallville Season 9 Episode 4

It hurts that he didnt even call her. He gets a little over protective

Episode 5 is a good episode in my opinion.

AKSHAR PATEL

He’s probably busy with school work and work.. seems he hasn’t updated on his twitter or been on his twitch account either. I hope he’s okay as well as his family

Once we get past episode 5 which sucks btw, this season will really kick in and I can't wait for that. great reaction

Your reaction to this episode had me cracking up. I love Lois and Clark so much. And I love what they do with Ollie this season

Right when he said that shit I'm doing my doing my best to keep my shit my shit together but lines like that make it so hard

Another fav of mine. Lois is so amazing, she was stood up once again but she doesn’t guilt trip Clark or hurt him like in typical Lana fashion “I don’t know how I could ever (trust/love) you” . They work things out without resentment, or angst. Clark is so much confident with Lois around, each character bring out the best of one another, and that’s why Clois rocks for me. Is so sad to see Ollie like that, and I’m glad Clark is trying to help him this time, I hated in s8 in ep requiem when he said he couldn’t trust Oliver. Great reaction.

One of my favs and so important to Oliver's story. Even after so many times watching it, knowing what will happen, when he said "I waited until every last person got out" I teared up☹️😢😢. It's a good story showing even hero's suffer from guilt, depression and suicide. Enough with that sad stuff.. Clark stood her again(good reason though) LOL 😄😃. Even that didn't stop her chasing after a story, that's a good reporter. I can take as many CLOIS moments as I can get. And yes CLANA had it's moments but I am forgetting about them while I am watching CLOIS(there is no that awkwardness). Anyway good reaction and be SAFE

This episode and the next episode.. MAN... heavy scenes about those situations. But it’s good re-watching it and seeing how intense and heavy Season 9 was especially for Oliver. While Clark is moving towards his destiny and leaving his past in the past. It took him a while, but he’s finally embracing it. It’s like a role reversal. Oliver was so confident in Season 8 and Clark was trying to prioritize his past, present, feelings, and his destiny. I love it! It’s always great to see a very active, confident, and smiley Clark Kent.

I wouldn’t say that Tess is a psychopath, she’s just one step ahead of people and she wants to know what certain things mean. I mean come on.. Tess also has been through SOO MUCH in her life. So you can’t blame her for being like this and not to mention ZOD and the kandorians are scary and dangerous people and they know about her. So she has to continue being secretive and bad ass. She’s trying to figure out ZOD/Kandorians, while also what her next couple of moves should be.. so NO she’s not crazy.. she’s actually quite cunning to me. Tess is such an interesting character and you don’t know whether she’s in the good side or bad side. She has her moments on both sides..so she’s a mystery this season as well. Yeah Oliver is hit rock bottom, but that’s what happens when guilt takes over you. The whole Lex thing and then jimmy’s death really took a toll on him mentally/emotionally. He really needs to snap out of it though, a brooding and drunk Oliver isn’t my favorite Ollie tbh. Haha! Oh the CLOIS goodness, yeah this is the 2nd time Clark stood up Lois. The first time, he was afraid to open his heart again. It was too soon in that season for him even though you want him to just go and sit down with Lois. You have to understand it from Clark’s perspective too. But yeah.. he’s lucky Lois just roll with the punches so to speak...I mean look at that last scene.. she’s giving him a hint that there is a chance for a 2nd date. But you know Lois will hang this over his head like she did before the first time he stood her up in Season 8. I mean it’s Lois for crying out loud.. but that’s also what we love about CLOIS.. they tease and challenge each other.. that’s what makes them so great, but most of all they accept each other..flaws and all. You didn’t see Lois giving him the guilt trip about it, she took it in and was tough..but still gave him hope. So hey progress! Clark better make it up to her when he decides to ask her out again. 😂❤️

One of my favorites. I completely forgot how deep the Oliver stuff was, I only remembered the fun telepathic stuff. I can't remember the last time a superhero show took a heavy subject like depression and suicide seriously. The first time, as a kid, the suicide attempt went right over my head. Even though I've never struggled with depression or suicidal tendencies, this episode really hits me a lot harder as an adult.
