A filler episode, but a perfect filler imo. This was very funny, even though it had little to do with the season’s main plot. It was nice to just relax a bit and enjoy it, just to have a good time without the usual drama. Finally our old Lois is back!!, absolutely loved how Lois has chosen to handle her disappointment at Clark's non-interest (or so she thinks). She's accepted it, and she's not brooding or dwelling. She's dusting herself off and moving on. Non-angsty Lois, no lanafication of Lois. And I also like that her friendship with Clark remains intact after bride and infamous. They are dancing around each other and is nice clark is slowly opening his eyes to the fact that he has more than friendly feelings for Lois, and I loved all the little details such as the framed rules, that he knows perfectly lois’s daily routine, so sweet of Clark. About the Lois’s date, I remember I wanted it to be with someone with the initials BW so much, the first class guy LOL, I know now that wouldn’t be a good idea (because of AC and Oliver thing, we wouldn’t want superman wife with past relationships with that much JL’s members, with this two is more than enough), but for a FanFiction would be so fun to read. The only only I’m not so happy with is that it took Chloe to point out things he should be figuring out for himself. And welcome to watchtower era and another league member Satana and her funny spells! Great reaction.

2020-04-15 03:04:30 +0000 UTCDon’t you just love that Lois doesn’t give into Clark that easily? She knows what she’s worth and she is angry at Clark for not showing up. We all know Lois, she’ll keep it moving and Clark really needs to make it up to her. Granted..right now is NOT the time to start a romance LOL. Clark has other things that have priority like Davis/Doomsday. But at least we have some Clois moments thrown in and little realizations from Clark... now he’s kind of embracing his growing feelings...but still keeping his distance. But this episode was needed and gave us some laughs and good interaction between Lois (Chloe) - Clark - Lois, those scenes were GOLD.. my favorite one was the rooftop when Lois (Chloe) was trying to tell Clark about his powers. I loved the scene between Chloe and Clark in the end, wise words and realizations being said to each other. However, like I said... Clark needs to figure out his feelings first and continuing following his path on fulfilling his destiny. Chloe, well damn she ran into a shit storm and honestly I feel bad for Jimmy. He did go a bit crazy, but it’s validated.. especially how Chloe handled everything in the last episode, protecting or siding with Davis. Clark was right in saying, it hurts when someone you love doesn’t believe/trust in you. For Davis, I’m split.. I like Davis and I feel he honestly doesn’t want this kind of life or hurt people. But the other side of him just is more stronger. I don’t like the way he got in between Chloe and Jimmy and how he kissed Chloe before the wedding. But then there’s also Chloe.. who also keeps seeing the good in Davis. However, she’s also making it harder for Jimmy and their marriage.. TRUST ISSUES yet again. I can’t blame Jimmy either... this dude has been through enough you know?? He almost died how many times? Chloe keeps things from or seems to not trust him or sides with other guys that’s not him. It’s very hard this whole Jimmy -Chloe - Davis thing. *sighs* I don’t like seeing Jimmy hurting physically and emotionally. I don’t like seeing sad Chloe and I don’t like seeing less of cool Davis and more darker Davis. He’s trying to fight it, but.. it’s just so much stronger. 😩

2020-04-14 09:10:25 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this episode, it was light and just fun. I loved how Tom played "Nerdy Clark", just classic Clark Kent. All he needed was glasses and it was a cool nod to the whole "bumbling persona" he has in the comics. Erica Durance played an amazing Chloe as well. And Zatanna was amazing, great guest star, trivia: The actress actually learned how to say her lines backwards (in the comics Zatanna does her spells by saying what she wants just backwards, she tied Oliver saying "leets yb dnuob" (bound by steel backwards) and, while the producers thought of just adding the lines in post production with a computer program, the actress knew that there were Zatanna fans out there and learned the lines the way they were meant to be done, cause she wanted to be the best Zatanna she could. Just a great episode overall.

2020-04-14 06:31:12 +0000 UTCThis might be my favorite episode of the season. Zatanna Zatara is like one of the most underrepresented DC characters. I no joke have said for a few years now that Kristin should play her in the Arrowverse shows (cause she not only looks the part but she did play a witch a few seasons ago so she can definately nail incantations). I remember when I watched this season the first time, it was pretty forgettable to me in the last third, except for this episode. This is probably the only filler episode this season that I really enjoyed. I usually don't mind fillers if they not only go all out and have fun but also leave on some sort of reflective note and this episode did.
