imho yeah, if Gege wrote what I would consider to be one of the most baffling and unforced plot holes in the history of fiction, I wouldn't accept it. I respect them too much to take them at their word here, either they were being tongue-in-cheek when they said that the Choso/Todo visions are unrelated or they are one of the most incompetent authors of fiction I have ever encountered. Based on the rest of the series I have a hard time believing that.

If you havent seen the movies Raid and Raid 2 you would love them. some of the best fights in any film easily. The bathroom fight scene in this episode is making a direct reference to one of the best fights in part 2. Oh and when you were asking if they could give you the condensed version of the ability descriptions look at the signs on the wall in that scene, as mechamaru explains the abilities the panels show each ability with a symbol and name. A really cool detail. Choso is an absolute badass.

Sukuna's appearance in this episode only showed that he was watching everything, as he was spectating the whole fight from inside Yuji. But he never actually gave those memories to Choso, remember Sukuna is evil and would never help Yuji lmao. Those memories just happened to start flooding in Choso's mind right before he almost killed Yuji

I think they are the same thing personally. I think Todo’s eccentricity is a smokescreen for how real the mind manipulation he experienced was. It’s the exact same scenario and even language in both scenarios “mind was flooded with memories that did not exist” I will simply never accept that Todo just made it up and Choso didn’t

I saw another reacter think the same thing but it actually wasn’t sukuna that implanted the false memories it was yuji’s ability. It has yet to be explained how it works but he did the same thing with todo if you remember their first fight

My personal favorite episode of JJK right here I think. The direction, the score, the acting, and ofc one of if not the best animated fist fights I've ever seen. The callback at 19:15 to the black flash in 1x24 where Yuji and Nobara killed his brothers. The lofi fake home video of the mysterious Choso mind manipulation. The artists respoinsible for this show did and continue to create stunning art despite the pressures and limitations placed on them by MAPPA management
