2025-05-03 02:32:38 +0000 UTC227 is when the sunvillage arc starts and it’s it’s own arc but it’s heavily connected to tartaros so it essentially technically is when tartaros starts, kind of like a prelude. but i remember i considered the saturation change to be so out of place for fairy tail.. then i watched tartaros and now i understand why, i don’t think there’s been a darker / sadder fairy tail arc and the saturation dilution makes so much sense. it’s supposed to feel colorless and serious and as ur watching it almost becomes unsettling when you see what unfolds over the course of the next few episodes. (it’s the best arc in fairy tail imo with tenrou as a close second) make sure to skip the openings to avoid big spoilers pleaseeeee
