Dormouse adventurer (finally finished)

I'm finally back among the living! That stupid surgery cost me three weeks of my life, but I'm finally working again (mostly for school) but I hope to get myself sorted enough for art before long. 2020 has been a taxing affair, to say the least.

Shipping to the US (and Australia) is still not possible, which has been desastrous for my business, so I will soon put up original art for sale (and do another horse, the Nazgul one). The originals will be shipped worldwide (UPS is still operating...), so anyone can join. :)

I plan to do some more mousy content this Inktober, and to have enough to maybe make into a new little print project. Product-wise, the future is rather fluid - until I can ship properly again, I can't really make new investments, so no new pins or t-shirts for now. A few US people have got creative and given me a friend's Canadian address rather than their own, but I'm still hoping that, at some point, the USPS will be able to do its job again. There - that's the most political stuff you'll hear from me in this space...

I do plan to start a Discord server for Patrons, and probably watercolour workshops through Zoom or similar! Would anyone be up for that? At least those are shipping-proof. :)

Glad to hear you're doing better! Would absolutely be up for Discord or Zoom. :)

Glad you're doing better!! Take care of yourself.

Vivienne E Collins

Great to hear from you! Looking forward for your zoom workshop!

My son (2,5 years old) just began a passion for knights and all things related to them (wonder why...), so these Dormice will delight him once you get to have them available in some form! So good to hear from you, glad things are returning to more normal (even if it’s still the bad Corona-normal).

Liv Klein

I can imagine! This has to be so frustrating and infuriating. :(

I love the idea of watercolor workshops! I myself wouldn't be able to partake, but I've lost count of the times I've said something like, "I'd love this linear colored... but I'm RUBBISH at watercolor." I can't be the only one who'd love the opportunity to learn from a master. ^_^ (And trust me, us folks in the US are eager for the USPS to recover, too.)

Kris

I think workshops would be lovely. 2020 really has been something.

Zoom workshops sound great; definitely in

I want to use inprnt for my older art! They have most of my newer but also older stuff. If you're missing anything, let me know and I can upload it! https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/jenny.dolfen.5/

So good to hear that you are back, Jenny! I am absolutely and very much up to the Zoom workshop idea! The Adventurer is adorable, as are the other dormice, and I already have in mind a few kids who might think likewise. Good news about the Etsy shop too. Is it still possible to buy custom prints of your earlier paintings? I rearranged my flat a little, and now I have a First Age wall that could use some additional scenes. :-)

Zane Libiete

I'm glad that you're Etsy shop is open again, I'll buy something soon to delight myself and support you. I'm sorry that the situation is US is making things difficult for you.
