Finally finished this! 23x23cm, watercolour and white gel pen on Fabriano 5 cold-pressed paper.

Gosh, I can't wait for the holidays. Four more weeks. And with practically no travel, there's a reasonable hope for some art.

I've decided - again - that I want to do more plein-air and location painting, and I got myself a - - collapsible camping stool. Maybe that'll make me go out more and seek some beautiful spots!

I'm also going to get my first haircut since February tomorrow. I remember getting my last haircut when Italy was already shutting down, and I told the hairdresser to cut it a few centimetres shorter than I normally wear my hair, just in case the next haircut was a bit longer off... O_o

Ah ok. Thank you for the response.

It is so exhausting, isn't it? Hard to explain to someone who has never done it!

Jenny Dolfen

That might be a challenge, as round images "waste" a lot of space and can't be easily combined!

Jenny Dolfen

Maybe a print can be done that combines all of the horses once they are done or at least a few together. Then others can be added to another set as time goes on.

Doug Kesseli

These horses are wonderful! I think I will wait for the rest and then have an entire wall for horses only! :-) I had my first haircut since months yesterday, and that was certainly overdue. :-D Here in Latvia things are getting more or less back to normal, and most of the last restrictions will be lifted within a week. I very much look forward to holidays too. Remote teaching and learning (I happen to be both university lecturer and student) has been rather awkward and exhausting, even though I am certain it must be far more difficult with school children than university students. So let us hope for beautiful summer in our well-earned holidays!

What a wonderful Rochallor! I feel you for the haircut, can't wait for mine to be done (next week!!). Pein-air painting sounds like a delightful idea! take care

So beautiful!!

After the first six or seven years it doesn't get any longer.

Mary Catelli

To say that I have gotten a bit shaggy would be ... accurate.

Steven Tryon

Ah so beautiful!
