It breaks my heart to think that Fingon is so happy here, and will be dead at the end of this battle. ;_;
Some plans! Before I tackle the Prophecy of the North, I'm going to put in a piece of happy Fingon and Maedhros in Valinor. Boy, have those two earned that.
I am also thinking of ways to give you a bit more of a fun Patreon experience, especially for the higher tiers, which don't put me under too much stress, and am again entertaining the idea of a monthly Discord chat. We could decide on possible topics in advance to have a more in-depth discussion then - the last few weeks have been such fun with you guys, and I'd love to have that as an item of its own. Who'd be up for that? Let me know!

2020-02-10 18:44:47 +0000 UTCIt breaks my heart too and sort of reminds me of Richard III before Bosworth too, all unknowing of what is to come :( Some happy Fingon and Maedhros in Valinor sounds absolutely wonderful to me! I still cling to the hope that somehow, after all their trials, they will have those happy times again and will be able to live quietly somewhere in Valinor, away from anything to do with politics or oaths. Not sure I could stand to read what happens to them without having that in my mind.
