Lineart stage - tiny beasties

The final image will be 42x20 cm when all's said and done, but I drew the horses and riders slightly larger in format, to be scaled down later. I already needed a magnifying glass for the details. ;)

The blue underneath is the Photoshop sketch I showed in the last post, printed out in pale blue so I can filter it out in Photoshop again after scanning.

Dogs! I can't remember when I last drew any dogs.

Shoulder and heel in line - now that's a helpful thing to remember! (And I'm willing to bet it's a lot easier for an artist to do than for a rider, at first) ;) Thanks a lot!

Yay! I was looking forward for this scene! And Nelyo, Nelyo again <3

If you want the official German standard as reference & context, check out the FN homepage here: https://www.pferd-aktuell.de/18974_1 but there will be other good refs on the Internet. :) most important thing is that shoulder and heels should be in line.

Absolutely!

This is looking great!

Looks awesome so far! Is constructive criticism welcome, though? I might have some input from an equestrian's point of view.

This looks amazing! I can't wait to see it as it develops. I'm so glad you've got more confidence in your decisions when creating art after Inktober :)

Is this a special format? Or is it similar to A3? ... So excited to see how this one turns out. :)
