2015-10-06 14:45:47 +0000 UTCI think the tattered clothes have been an essential design element for that crossing for a long time. :) If anything, the failed expedition I've got in mind right now is the Franklin expedition - have you read Kristina Gehrmann's graphic novel "Im Eisland"? Highly recommended! Part two is just out these days.

Did you get inspiration from Shackleton's or Scott's expeditions in any way? ^^ ... And yes, angry Fingolfin is great! ... But I wouldn't mind eventually seeing him in a happy family scene either. :D
