Secret project update

Can't talk too much about what it's for - only that it's a laaaaarge-scale collaboration, not a project of mine but something to which I'll contribute one piece. It's going to be a beautiful and awesome thing that'll happen next year.
That said, please cross your fingers it'll really happen next year. All the great things I was hoping for in terms of publications for this year have mostly evaporated. The DVD was the saddest - I had seven paintings in the pipeline to appear on the Hobbit DVD, and they all got cut. It's rumoured that Peter Jackson had the final say. As if he hadn't earned my perpetual dislike already.
The artbook is no closer either. I've got tired of asking. It was planned three years ago, I finished work on it two and a half years ago, and it's already outdated before it will even be published. If it's published at all.
And ImagineFX - three issues have come and gone and I'm not sure if it'll happen yet... I should poke them, politely?

2015-09-23 07:11:55 +0000 UTCbtw, her foot is wrong in the stirrup; it should sit the ball of the foot (ie just behind where the toes start). Any further back and it's too hard to kick free if you come off, so you risk being dragged with your foot caught in a stirrup.

2015-09-19 22:35:57 +0000 UTCFingers crossed for you! That's way too many things not going through for one person! And it's official now: Peter Jackson doesn't know what's good or not anymore. Over the last year, I've head so many things that could have been good being replaced by something less. So many things that could have been good worked out in a way that makes me cringe *cough* Galadriel *cough* Legolas *cough* this doesn't even surprise me anymore.
