By the way, do you have any thoughts on further developing Roka's mother and sister in the story? Given the longevity of the mages around them, they would invariably pass away long before any of the other characters (barring non-natural sources of death), but on the other hand, this new approach to magic could also turn them into mages themselves, couldn't it?
