Added 2019-11-17 11:35:15 +0000 UTCGood morning, all! On time this time! As I keep saying, progress on SI ch19 has been steady, and here’s the proof. Get used to Su’ko. She’s gonna stick to the SI like a bad stank for the rest of the story.
So, not much else happening right now. It’s all systems go on this SI chapter. Supports are done, Dark is done, I’m not even thinking about anything else until this one’s done. Writing-wise, anyway.
At present my non-writing thoughts are still consumed by Star Wars. I was actually asked why I’ve never written any SW fanfiction before, and to that I say: I’ve tried. Oh lawdy how I’ve tried. But the setting, like many sci-fi settings, never really clicked with me. Writing-wise, again. Also, SW fanfiction really doesn’t need to exist; if you want a certain type of story, it’s already there. From Oceans 11 in space to literal Zombies in Space (Death Troopers and Red Harvest by Joe Schrieber, look em up), it’s all been done, so the majority of SW fics tend to be ‘fix fics’, and for the most part I deplore fix fics.
Also, I got Jedi: Fallen Order. Not only is it the best SW game I’ve played in years, it’s the best game in general I’ve played in yonks. Definitely give it a shot. Dark Souls style combat meets Uncharted/Tomb Raider style exploration and puzzle solving. It’s surprisingly fun.
Okay, so the Three Houses Reverse Isekai contest is done. We’re just going through entries now trying to pick a winner. Look forward to that announcement before the end of the month.
