On the Legacy of Dutch Imperialism
Added 2022-09-06 05:33:39 +0000 UTCWriting and working on the Dutch history series there is a problem I encountered. Dutch Imperialism. Dutch Imperialism matters. The Dutch Empire matters. It had enormous impact on the Dutch political and economic system. BUT it had far greater consequences in its colonies. Especially in East Asia.
There is a conflict of content hewre though. Because I eventually wanted to make a video about the legacy of Dutch imperialism, specifically with a focus on Indonesia.
So what should I do?
1: Cut down the content about the legacy of Dutch Imperialism in the video, and announce that in the future I will make a specific video about that topic.
2: Incorporate Dutch Imperialism into the wider video?
