I love stuff like this and see it as a sign of great strength and capability. You ran into the Supernatural and Otherworldly multiple times, fought against it, and survived each time. Even surviving encounters with things that are otherwise aspects of Death and walking away. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger because you know how to survive it now. And he knows more than most at this point.
