Finishing the bat

Hi Folks,
in this chapter we are finishing the bat. We are finally painting the little back of the body of the bat and we are also incorporating a bit of bouncing green light on the mossy base to tie everything together.

The back of the bat is almost not visible from the front, because the wings totally shield of the front from the back. In general it appears to be a little distached from the front, also the sculpt it look a little like a fused beast, like a manticore/chimera. It reminds a bit of the back of a big cat, like a lion or a tiger.

to get a harmonic result, we need to ensure to connect both sides color-wise.

I have decided to incorporate the flesh tones from the front with the dark color of the arms.

We are also adding a bit of green bouncing light to all elements that are facing downwards.
