I am really happy to share the video of the membrane wings with you today. Membrane wings are a classic element in miniatures and fine art they are the archetype of evil, monstrous creatures, the approach from our bat can be used for anything from tyranid harpys to the latest demon prince.
As I mention in the Intro, I am not the biggest fan of painting wings. It is such a repetitive object, especially with feathered wings. Every surface you imagine, you have to repeat it 3 more times.
The wings of our bat offer the great opportunity to add various natural looking color variations, this helps to spice up the work quite a bit.
The wings are an important element for our model, they shield the back almost entirely from the front. They are like a backdrop, the dont offer to many really sharp objects, so also our highlighting approach follows the same concept. We keep the surface more muted and soft-looking. By introducing sharp and articulated highlights around the outer edge of the wings (finger-like bone spurs, nmm rings, feet, and claws)

Don´t know if sculpting is something you do alot of, but since you like wings maybe you could do a guide as to how to make wings? From normal fathered wings to maybe Nurgle feathered wings?
