A Big Thank You!

Yesterday night we went over my first patreon goal: $667 per month. I am now one step ahead of the devile, which is my share of the rent. It makes a huge difference to me and my family - its a sure proof that you are interested in what I have been doing over the past year. The morning is basked in a different light for me, as new ideas and possibilities pop up!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Especially if you've struggled with Patreon's horrible "credit card declined" problem during the past months (even up until yesterday), thank you for persevering and for staying around.

I have conjured two new goals that I'd like to introduce to you:

The first goal enables me to focus even more on what why most of you are here for: to support me in my video creation. Each techniques video takes me about three days to script, shoot, edit, color, mix, annotate, and promote. By accepting less commissioned work (that takes me away from my studio for months at a time), I can start creating these videos more regularly, and actually have a buffer for those occasions when I have to crunch time for scoring work. I can also put more time into the bonus material, such as the sounds, sample packs and loops I have been making available to you for the past few months.

The second goal has been a dream of mine since I first got up on stage with a busted keyboard and played my own songs to a crowd of ten; travel the world to perform! I have already visited some beautiful places with a suitcase packed with synths and tapes, and made some videos to show you, but I want this to happen more frequently. Especially a US Tour is something that has been requested a often (about a third of you reside in the states), but the artist visa is prohibitively expensive for me. By reaching this goal I can save up to pay my own way instead of waiting for a booking agency to make this dream come to life. It would be truly amazing to visit your city, perform, and get to meet you in real life!

So, these are the new goals. What do you think? I hope you'll keep helping me achieve them together - it might take a while, but I've been very hopeful after seeing how positive things have been for the past few months. Thank you again and I hope to continue seeing you around here!

Cheers,
Hainbach

Yaaay! I'm so happy for you that you've reached your first financial goal and can do more of the things you want to do! That would be so awesome if you could go on a world tour and come over to the US! I really appreciate your videos and sound packs so much! I also have an OP-1 and actually got a Plumbutter a few months ago after stumbling upon your OP-1 videos on YouTube and seeing that strange wooden device with the wires and blinking lights. I've never had anything like it before, had no prior experience with patch cables, etc., but it is really magical and surprising to play, as if it has a mind of its own. I'm really delighted with your videos on Ciat-Lonbarde instruments, including the newest in-depth ones, and hope you will do more if that is also something you like and want to do. Part of what is so great about Patreon and supporting musicians like you is that it also inspires me to want to make music too and be more creative. I've learned so many things that I never knew existed and every few days or every week there is something new and wonderful to look forward to from your Patreon posts. It makes me feel like a little kid on Christmas morning going to see what's under the tree, since your new posts often appear first thing in the morning when I wake up. Thanks and keep up the great work you are doing!

awesome news, thank you for sharing!
