I saw your show in Bucharest, I loved it. I hope you’ll include it in your next tour. As for why the audience reacted like that: I can’t speak for everyone (or read their minds), but it might have to do with how the building was used during the previous regime for propaganda. I mean, it was a communist dictatorship and lots of buildings and institutions were used for propaganda, so it wasn’t unique. I came to the show with my dad, he was telling me how he and his schoolmates would regularly get hauled out there to sing about how wonderful the motherland was (officially). The regime changed when I was a baby so I don’t have any memories of it, but I suspect that many people (from multiple generations) have less than fond memories related to many important buildings, including Sala Radio. Don’t worry, you had no way of knowing. I suspect the younger adults in the audience were also a bit confused if they weren’t accompanied by older relatives. All the best from the girl wearing the stag do T-shirt at the meet & greet 🙂 You guys were great. Still hoping to see a version of the T-shirt with Dorothy’s hen party 🥳

Thank you for always taking the time for these tours, even though this must be after the show and you all must be tired.
