CTR 2.1 beta 6
Added 2021-02-19 19:57:36 +0000 UTCWhat's new?
- CTR IDLE PROFILE - maximum power saving during system inactivity. Peak voltage 1.0V for Zen 3 and 1.1 for Zen 2. Now it will be very cold
- Clock selection time reduced from 150ms to 50ms. Significant improvement in profile stability.
- PX PROFILE for Zen 2. Up to 4 cores (temporary limitation).
- 5600X and 5800X with 2 CCD's work correctly.
- Pre-loading of profiles. If user has activated P1, P2, PX, profile activation time decreases, because profiles are already in pre-loaded state. Significant improvement in profile stability.
- Corrects frequency calculations for PX PROFILE during diagnostics (for 5600X).
- Fixing random crashes. Partial. Additional testing required.
Additional testing is required, so the release will be tomorrow.

Yes. The best part of CTR for me is the "fast adjustment" speed. You don't need to reboot tons of times into BIOS then restart windows. You could adjust the value on the fly. If it crashes, goes back. Very convenient!

2021-02-21 11:08:38 +0000 UTCFirst of all, Thanks to 1usmus for making such a great tool. Since all user PC environments are different, incorrect tuning values may come out, but if you manually adjust the p1,p2,px clocks and voltage little by little, it will show great performance. This is certainly much more efficient and satisfactory than PBO + CO.
2021-02-20 19:14:25 +0000 UTCDo you read the updates that I write daily? Who am I writing them for every day? Why do you draw conclusions if you haven't succeeded?

2021-02-20 15:18:52 +0000 UTCThe PX is very unstable on 5950X, it gets mishmashed during mixed loads. It is very unstable if the PX and base profile has a large frequency gap also. You have to tailor, mimic a smooth curve. Basically I see only gains in synthetics so far. For productivity - heavy MT apps this app is useful for sure. Gaming, random surfing stock does work better for me.
2021-02-20 15:07:39 +0000 UTCFor example cinebench runs (simulating game loads, but not tested so far...) My 5900x runs like this: Up to 2 threads at 5050 Mhz Up to 4 threads at 4975 Mhz Up to 6 threads at 4925 Mhz

2021-02-20 07:20:31 +0000 UTCShould be fixed in beta 6

2021-02-20 07:15:48 +0000 UTCAMD has to made it adjustable with Ryzen Master from Windows first. Perhaps during March

2021-02-20 07:13:55 +0000 UTCI got the 5800x with 2ccd running aswell with the new beta. PX works now on 1 core. All the other cores remain in lower state. Also multicore scores are down because only 1 core boosts up to P1/P2 the rest stay in the range of 3600-3900mhz. Looking forward to the new Beta ;)
2021-02-20 01:15:47 +0000 UTCI WAS THINKING WHAT KIND OF TASKS THAT USE PX. YURI IS RUNNING SO FAR AHEAD. WINDOW APPS CANT CATCH THE SPPED.
2021-02-20 01:00:39 +0000 UTC5g boost for what ? watching youtube οΌLOL
2021-02-20 00:55:53 +0000 UTCThis is great, thank you. Any updates on where you're at with PBO?
2021-02-19 22:07:25 +0000 UTCsuper stupid question.. but as the area were you enter numbers show clearly 4 symbols but it lets to type more... did you checked that you have correct number in that slot? i mean i have had situations were typing in new value the old one will not be replaced and result is something like 45754600 (old value is 4600 and new 4575), sometimes one zero is hidden or-smthin' .and i get same error. (if that message is from auto filled values and real entered frequency is what you know acceptable then skip everything i said :P)

2021-02-19 21:46:53 +0000 UTCThis guy updates! Although I've been enjoying being able to do all this magic with CTR, I am getting a few random crashes while gaming. By crashes I mean full system restart. This happens when I play Dota 2 and Cyberpunk. Anyone else face similar issues? I've got a 5600X and I'm on CTR 2.1 beta 3.

2021-02-19 21:08:23 +0000 UTCKeep up the good work, we cry and laugh together. Everybody needs to pe patient and thankful.
2021-02-19 20:49:48 +0000 UTCGreat ! Btw, my high and mid states weren't filled on my 5800x after diagnostic (tho low was set), don't know if you were told so here I am ! Keep the great work coming ! <3
2021-02-19 20:40:58 +0000 UTCOh crap, another revision hahaha. Just finished running B5 :) I hope B6 works as intended with my "unique" 5800X cause after locking in both profiles I can't get the PX profile to work. It says "Wrong frequency for HIGH STATE!"

2021-02-19 20:37:21 +0000 UTCSounds great, yeah waiting on those 5800x fixes. I'm running the Hybrid from Beta 5 with no crashes all day so far.
2021-02-19 20:18:38 +0000 UTCDont lose heart mate, all the best!
