Here we go!

This one really peaked my attention and I could tell, when I looked at the trailer, this was gonna be my cup of tea!

I thoroughly enjoyed every single bit of this. I think this is my favourite movie reaction so far! Couldn't be more impressed!

Enjoy!

Yes he's great! Arrival coming very soon :)

As others have said, director Denis Villenueve is a master of his craft, and I think the best at creating scale in today’s cinescape. Highly recommend more of his work, especially Arrival, Sicario, and Blade Runner 2049.

OH JOLLY WHAT GREAT CINEMATOGRAPHY No genuinely this movie is insane. The scale that is created. You really do feel like you've entered a whole other universe. There is so much lore (I feel like if you aren't atleast a bit confused you're doing something). I watched this in the cinema when it came out. I think at the time I didn't think it was necessarily anticlimactic. I was just mad that I didn't get more

Denis Villeneuve is a master of visual story telling. IMO - he has not made a bad movie. So glad that you enjoyed this, I had a feeling that you would as you once described this kind of story (story telling) to be "right up your alley". I also believe that you would really enjoy his movie : "Arrival" (2016) Starring - Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker, and Michael Stuhlbarg. Thank you for doing this one, Claudie. I look forward to Part 2. Cheers!

I’m really glad you enjoyed this one, it’s one of my favorite sci fi movies 😁 The cinematography and world building was insanely good in this one, it’s kinda nuts how much lore they could put in without making it seem boring. The VFX are also really good, my personal favorite was the way the ships wings flap, it made it look like some kind of dragonfly. Thank you Claudie 😊

Can't just watch the origin story then dip.

47:10 i knew going in that your artist's mind was going to amp out on the sheer scale of this movie and the brilliant way reference points are shown so that the imenseness of objects and the vastness of the landscape can be interpolated by the brain as things continue to move and evolve. I think you described this concept in a very elegant way here.

Great to watch it again for the sixth time or so.

I just rewatched Dune part 1 in preparation for THIS. Yay!

So happy you enjoyed this one. If you liked it, #2 is even more intense and visually striking. Character development is even more complex and rich. Hope you find the time to look into #2. Maybe... :) - Thank you for sharing!

You wanted more Rebecca Ferguasson? Don't blame you
