I gave it a 8/10 also. When I first listened to the song I was a little taken back but after the second listen I was sold. Like you said this song definitely gives Neo/NCT vibes. After finding out Kenzie worked on Formula it all made sense. The members definitely did a good job of selling the song and while certain members did suit this concept more than others I think the whole group did a good job.

2026-01-13 18:20:30 +0000 UTCWk1 was definitely going the F1 route, initially, but I think they're backing away from it a bit, possibly because they were legally advised to or because they didn't want to narrow down ALD1's concept so much. The scheduler video for Formula's release schedule features a near-exact copy of an F1 wheel, and ALD1's signature sound that they just got via a collab with the beatboxer Wing is the sound of a car speeding on a track, though that more likely has more to do with the fact that the word drive is in their name.
